An application of DEMATEL for transaction authentication in online banking

This paper evaluates different authentication methods for online banking in Parsian Bank, which is one of the biggest private banks in Iran. The study designs a questionnaire and distributes it among some experts to find cause and effect factors based on a multi-criteria decision making technique named Decision Making Trial And Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL).

This study explored the possibility of predicting port productivity and berth effectiveness of a seaport using ANN and ARIMA. A comparative analysis of a multi-layer perceptron (MLP) back propagation algorithm and ARIMA performance was carried out based on ships days at port, days at berth and tonnage: the model’s input parameters, while port productivity and berth effectiveness were the model outputs.
